A bit of this, a bit of that; ADHD at it's finest.
It’s impossible to get angry without first being selfish, dishonest & afraid.
If I can remember this at the point of impact & turn my attention to “MY” mistakes rather than what the other person said or did to me… I can avoid anger & resentment altogether.
If I feel myself getting angry, I should immediately ask myself what I’m afraid of.
That will calm me down & keep me from getting angry at the other person.
The next thing I should ask myself is “what is the other person afraid of?”… because nobody behaves badly for no reason.
The goal for today: Understanding & Love!
